The Illinois Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame was founded in 1973 to honor the best and most influential players, teams, coaches, media, officials, and friends of basketball in Illinois history. Since then, a new Hall of Fame class has been inducted every year.

IBCA Hall of Fame
P.O. Box 8004
Elburn, Illinois 60119
Nominations must include the candidates address; phone number & email address and the same information of the nominator is needed. Without this information we will NOT forward the candidates nomination to our IBCA Board of Directors. It is important that you write a detailed resume for the candidate that should include, statistics, records, honors, achievements and be specific on years (example 1990-1998). If the candidate is a player, we need their high school and college career stats. You can find their college information by contacting the sports information director at the college they played for. Little information will not enhance the nominee’s chances of getting into the Hall of Fame. Every year we table candidates for insufficient information.
We also will need a high-quality photo of the person you are nominating. We will announce the 2021 Hall of Fame Class at the end of the first week of December.
If you wish to contact the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association chairman for the Hall of Fame Museum, Bruce Firchau, please do so via the contact page.
